Principal's Message
I am deeply honored and excited to serve as the principal of Carlson Home Hospital. Carlson is a dynamic community filled with dedicated and skilled educators, and I look forward to the incredible achievements we will accomplish together!
A little about me: I bring over twenty years of experience with the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD).
My career in education began as an elementary teacher and has evolved through roles such as a special education high school teacher, coordinator, program specialist, behavior specialist, APEIS, and eventually an AP here at Carlson. I am also a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
My passions lie in creativity, entrepreneurship, and interdisciplinary project-based learning, where students have the opportunity to dream, discover, craft, and reach their fullest potential. I am enthusiastic about working in an environment that prioritizes both social-emotional growth and academic excellence, understanding that developing social skills and emotional intelligence is essential for students to become impactful leaders and effect positive change in our global community.
With great anticipation and excitement, I look forward to an amazing year ahead with all of you.
