About Us

Welcome to Carlson Home Hospital School! On behalf of our school staff, we want you to know that we are here to support and to ensure the academic success and social-emotional well-being of our students. Carlson Home Hospital School provides temporary instructional services for students living within the LAUSD boundaries in grades TK-12* who are unable to attend their home schools due to medical or psychiatric issues.

Our Mission

To provide a high-quality education that fulfills students' academic, social, emotional, special needs while promoting college/career awareness and readiness. We will support the individual uniqueness of all students by skillfully implementing strategic, data-driven, and individualized instruction and interventions that maximize educational experiences, close achievement gaps, and support the reintegration of students.
